i have :

(1) rem 870 full riot built by hans vang. insane accurate w/federal slugs. vang comped ported w/ spec ops folding stock. streamlight mega light on remote switch. and the 28" barrel with every choke.

(1) mossberg handy dandy 18.5 and 28" barrel with extended mag tube for 18.5 and alum mag tube follower

(1) hk/benelli super 90 12 gauge 21" VR barrel and all the goodies. vang comped, tom knapp fire sights on it. ultimate thick dezert brush quail and dove snotgun.

(1) benelli m-2 18.5 full riot pistol gripped, streamlight mega light on remote

(1) h&r .410 that has been hammered by both kids and the big kid(me) for years and never whimpered with a choate pistol grip stock.


next on the bucket list will be a benelli SUPER BLACK EAGLE 32" barrel for reach out and touch quail/dove w/a full choke installed. have shot my amigos and it is mucho effective.



remingtons and mossys ARE CLUBS in comparison to benelli's.



have shot the poo out of all of them and at the end of the day of bustin brush and playing with rattlesnakes.................i have a shoulder intact when using the benelli's.


i only use federal LE rounds in OO buck or slugs in mossy or rem. but then WTF do i know? go ahead and shoot those 3" magnum rounds out of a mossy or a rem and send us some pictures of your shoulder and cheek!


which is better the mossy or the rem? it all comes down to how well it fits and familiarity with the controls.


last time we went quail hunting i shot (6) boxes of 25 each #6 and #7's thru the benelli. try that with a rem or a mossy and please send pictures.
