BUY BUY BUY

You are just starting out racing so how would you know what to build anyway? It would take you hours of research and decision making just to plan the car. Then you might make a decision that, at the time sounds awesome, but after a few track days you wish you had not made... of course you wont know that for months... (no attack on your ability to build the car, just this is new for you so mistakes will be made and time/$$ lost) the best race cars are made by tiny details all over the car that make it just that much easier to drive, tune, & service... these are not known to you yet.

Now, you buy a car and you can start fixing the problems you find and making it more to how you like it right away. Each driver likes different things in their car. Of course you could run right into someone else's fatal mistake, but most likely it will have been fixed if you buy a car that is a few seasons old. Even if not, you will have a season to figure it out and recoup a few $'s (compared to building) along the way to correct anything you find. You will also gain friends running the same car and can learn from their expertise/car setups/etc...

I think you have made you choice already from the sounds of your posts... you just need to go find that car! You can always import it...

Best regards,

Michael
