I pulled the wires out throughout the front of the tunnel and stripped the covering from that section. There are a couple of other wires that I will replace as well. I was able to figure out where those go. Some of them still have melted covering from the red wire on them. I am considering a completely new harness. If I go that route, what years will closely match up? Fo reference, I am building a RS style car with a 3.0l from a 78.
