The diet is a great start. Bully for you!

Low carb is more important than low fat - but that is just an opinion.

Eating well - veggies, meats and fruits, a lack of junk food and plenty of sleep is most important.

Otherwise, I would look to no machine to help you at all. Look into body weight exercises and things like free weights, kettle bells and dumb bells. Yoga is great, biking too, running has worked for me..

If you want to work the belly - look up "AbMat" - a great way to do sit ups, with extra back support.
