Oily rags x 200 million is indeed miniscule.... I know plenty of folks who have used many gallons of old motor oil to spray on their driveways for years to keep dust at bay.... Their grass is healthy. Their well water is fine. Their ponds are healthy. Their health is fine. The wildlife on their property is fine. Don't get me wrong, I don't like to see "large" amounts of industrial toxic waste being dumped into rivers and lakes like "industry" used to do in the 70's, but some folks have gotten a bit carried away with this "save the earth" lifestyle and are trying to take it too far.
Folks who feel compelled to "save the earth" by driving their SUV half way across town to toss out what amounts to a 1/2 cup of motor oil crack me up.
PS.... Who is Bosco? Is that another derogatory playground term?
