My old faded memory seems to recall that it drove not too bad at all. Was up and down through all the gears without any problems. Over 100 kmh and seemed to handle well.

My real issue with the driving was due to the short time I had in the car. I could not get my leg and foot adjusted to the gas pedal, so it seemed like I was pushing the pedal down a long ways before I got any response. I don't blame the car for that one, I think it was mostly my problem.

Like I said before, the only reason I decided against it was that it did drive like a 45 year old car and I already have one of those. When I test drove the 1980 911SC an hour later I could really see and feel the difference and realized immediately that I did want something a bit newer than 1965.
