Need a small TV for a smaller bedroom. Don't have digital broadcast and don't watch a lot of movies. The room is normally not very bright. Did the research last night and found that:
-Dynamic Contrast Ratio is very important but the companies fudge the numbers.

-Brightness is important but the companies fudge the numbers.

-Respnse rate (ms) is important but not all companies post it.
I don't need an expensive TV. Looking at several 720p 60hz TVs. Seems like they are all Progressive Scan, ~10 watt Stereo speakers (which is fine), have a digital comb filter, have a resolution of 1366x768, have about the same inputs and specs and a 1 yr warranty.
So, why not go down to Wallyworld or Best Buy and get a Dynex, Visio, Sanyo, or whatever for $250-270???
