I think you might be onto something with the ground thing. Trying to research that in the Bentley now. The lights housing have a plug on either side. On the left side, there is a wire coming out of the plug with a connector that does not have a male plug anywhere near. German grounds are typically Brown and that plug is not brown. I unplugged the connectors and reseated them. The right side plug does not move around but the left one does. That makes me wonder.
