Thanks to all for the help
I found a short in the regulator...now everything is charging, although at a little higher rpm than I'd prefer.
I cleaned the screen in the fuel pump, which seemed to help a lot. I may go with the electric fuel pump and regulator... should help with the webers; I was just hoping to keep things as stock as possible.
My clutch cable seems stretched... I'll try to adjust this morning (it's the last major item) so I can get on the road. I REALLY want to drive this car...I've never driven a porsche, so I'm excited!!
