I have a 200 MB plan from AT&T. My android phone is smart enough that if I am in reach of a wifi hotspot, it will use that therefore no taxing the cellular data network. That being said, 8 hours at the office with wifi, home with wifi, and I come in at about 25MB per month usage.
8 hours at the office is actually not right. I am on the road quite a bit (commercial real estate broker) and I receive about 200 e-mails a day, but I am not pinging up against that limit.
I do not download attachments until I am on a computer. No use looking at contracts on a cell phone.
