Some of you can maybe remember my whaletail-thread. Because the B6 intercooler did not fit under the wing, I made several changes. One was to shave of the injector blocks. Thus I had to shave the new ones too:



To avoid heat transfer to the blocks/injectors, I all in all shorten blocks off 8mm and made some insulators of 5mm glassfiber sheet (epoxy based)

The insulators are not finished yet, have to make cutouts for injector. There I found a little weakness compared to other blocks (at least I think so):

The Blocks have the injector in a different angle in two dimensions than stock, so when I cut the spacer, it will not align to the cutout in the head. I don't think, there will be an issue, but it's a weak point at the blocks.
