I know people don't think of real estate sales when they think of secure, stable jobs... but for me it is the first time I have ever really felt like my effort and work is whorthwhile and appreciated.

My favorite part is that my daughter (who was born the day after I got my RE license!) will grow up in a house where her parents have jobs that they love.

Again, hard to explain without going overboard... but my point is that sometimes we don't recognize the impact we have, when we are typing away on PPOT, thousands of miles away. Someone was VERY generous with their time, and really impacted me and my family.
Some advice from an old goat...now that sales are working well for you, do look into opening a ROTH IRA...and buy this book:

The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing
by Taylor Larimore/ Mel Lindauer/Michael LeBoeuf

Probably available in paperback from Overstock dot com by now. It is chock full of info Cindy & I wish we knew when we started investing...
