Does that sound like an outfit someone should do business with?
I have never heard of that by any of my dealers. Maybe they were buying books for cars that might not have them. This is a common practice if the books are lost. There is a place in California that has them and I have bought a few for some cars I have driven in the past that had no books for the car. As far as records vin # don't match I would walk away from any car that records and the vins were not the same. I try my best to find the best 911's and 930's that the market has. Then these cars are gone through to give the best retail used Porsche that can be bought. There is always a better car or better price up or down. I have be stuck with a few BAD Porsche's over the years but for the most part for the volume of cars and people I deal with I have very few unhappy customers. And infact for the hand full of unhappy guys that didn't like a conversation with me sorry. Most are happy that I bought the car at a fair price and they are done.

What cracks me up is this blog has made my phone ring directly off this blog. And that is all good, and I thank all of you guys and gails for your support over the past dozen years and hope I live through another dozen years in the Porsche market. Happy Holidays from Ibuyporsches.com
