The Mallory unit is also called a 6 AL-2. Do a search on Summit Racing. It's basically a copy of the MSD, but with a rev limiter that does not require pills.
FWIW, consider placing the box in the back seat area instead of the engine compartment. Keeps it away from the heat of the engine, possibly extending the service life.
