Romp on the loud pedal and it seperates the men from the boys real quick.
I set the rev limiter at 7200.
The early chassis (72) is really really light. I had NO idea they where that much lighter than a SC chassis.
The injection system really smooths out the .625 lift cam at idle. I have it set to idle in open loop and go into closed loop at 1400RPM. It will NOT idle in closed loop..LOL
Finally nailed down the IAC this evening (Idle Air Control) motor. I couldnt make the damn thing idle. Now, when you fire it up.. it goes to 1300 rpm and then trickles down to 1000-1050 when the IAC takes over. You can watch the voltage to the IAC... it is all over the map trying to keep that V8 at 1000-1050 rpm, but it does it.
Pretty cool programmable system for under 1400$
