I can appreciate the benefit of carpet on the garage floor, but my concern is more in regard to fluid leaks and drips. How would you clean it out of the carpet?
I would think a product such as this would be better:
Utility Tiles, 18 x 18-in. | Canadian Tire
Unfortunately it is much pricier than scrap carpet.
