VRam1500, That's a bumper overrider to keep them big chebby's from crushing the back on the car when parking by sound. Parts Obsolete has a few for sale.
Looks like a 2.0l in the pics to me from the sparkplugs. Check the engine code like DD said.
Lots of good parts except for that progresive carb, yuk!
Take the front and rear lens off before they get broken!!
