Okay - I really can't believe I am asking this, but I hope its just me having a senior moment with my rear brake pad change out!

I have D279 carbon brake pads....have removed the old ones, cleaned up the calipers and slides etc......but there just appears no way to get both pads back into the space provided???

The piston side pad has the usual 3 prong clip to hold it in place.........so I insert that into the full caliper assembly (two pieces that then bolt on the hub assembly) but the outer pad just wont fit in there???

I've sort of rebuilt every other part of this car and engine so was ashamed I couldn't do this job in less than 15 minutes.......but its fighting me on this one!

Any help and not too much laughter would be appreciated!!!
