We're fine as a one income household as we are today actually. In six months we'll be better off because she'll finally have completed her business degree and one big expense will be gone. The price of gas doesn't really mean anything in terms of my job; actually the price of jet fuel going up might help us out some since what we make is designed to be much more efficient than what it replaces.

We're used to living within our means. I'm an engineer and budgeting is like thermo. Savings + expenses going "out" can't be greater than what's coming "in."

I'm still in a hotel in Mt Pleasant near the IOP connector for the time being - any advice on where good places to fill up are? I pretty much know what's on and near Hwy 17 and that's about it. I've been up Hwy 41 a few times... way too much traffic for me over there.
