Autoweek is the automotive equivalent of People magazine. And if I want to watch product placement, I'd watch Two Guys Garage or Monster Garage. Sometimes, I'll watch Autoweek for the car specs they recite, but what I see is a very dry, middle-of-the-road, almost Consumer Reports-type format. In fact, it's even less interesting than the articles in Consumer Reports.
Top Gear UK, otoh, has style, great production values and good writing and delivery. Thus, it's more enjoyable to watch - many steps up the People Magazine ladder. YMMV.
Besides, Autoweek will never have a Zonda R on their show nor will they drive it over the speed limit.
