Congrats Chris! There is always time for the Porsche, especially with the kid(s). Get them involved early and you'll build that special bond with them right away.
Both of my kids were obsessed w/ Porsches by the age of 2. At that age my daughter could tell the difference between Martini and Brumos livery cars (she was also quite happy to correct her mom). My son has a Martini themed room, at his request. I have car seats in the back of my car and it is the kids' preferred method of transport. I've even had the little guy throw a full on tantrem because the car was down for repairs and he couldn't ride in it (this has happened more than once).
We'll spend hours on Pelican looking at the various car pic threads to see who can spot the Martini, Brumos or Jagermeister car first. It's a bond that I know is something that is unique between my kids and me. My wife gets to spend all day with them, but "Porsche time" is my time with the kids and nothing could make me (or them) happier.
