If I didn't love her....

I went upstairs last night to find out that my Wife had re-arranged the media room. Normally not a big deal but...in doing so she decided to box all of mine and our Son's Porsche car collection. Now we have been collecting Matchbox, Hot Wheel, Johnny Lightning, Solido, Kyosho, et al for over 4 years and have amassed over 200 of them. They were in two glass doored cabinets on either side of the wide screen. The were organized accorded to model (the 911 on one shelf, the 959 on another, the 944, 928, 924 on a shelf and the various race models on their own. They were also organized according to year and style.

All-in-all, we had about 6 hours into the organization of it. She decided to move around all the furniture in the room to better accommodate some big pics of the kiddos. OK, her idea is a good one. Well, in doing so she dumps all the cars into a huge Tupperware storage box and puts them in the guest room.

I didn't know what she was up to, as I first walked into the media room I wasn't really shocked at all (at first). She (even though legally blind) still has about 10% vision in her left eye - none in her right so the fact that she does anything is great IMO. She has been known to move the living room and dining room around a bit to 'mix things up' and give her something to do during the day. This was no different.

The first thing I said was "Wow! This is great. You really worked hard! Thats allot of heavy lifting. I really like you idea." She was happy I acknowledged her work and liked her idea. I then saw the two cabinets sans P-cars.

"Honey pie, where are the Porsche's?"

"OH, I put them in the guest room. I thought we could use those cabinet shelves to show various pictures we have gone on vacations."

"Hmmm...OK. Ya, thats a good idea. Question, where do you think we should keep the Porsche cars?"

"Yard sale? E-bay? I don't know..." She said.

Don't worry. She is still alive...
