I designed the garage myself, built all the walls, built the glass block windows, set the roof trusses and did most of the other install stuff. I had some local help and drive-in help with all of the home based stuff. I paid some guys to put the OSB on the roof and to do the shingles (it is unfortunate, but they were morons) and in addition I paid the masons to brick it...original plan was to do concrete board siding, so I had to install angle iron around the entire building to support the brick...nothing quite like changing your mind at the last minute. Well worth it...it now matches the rest of the property very well.
I've been using my green Audi (aka Green Machine) to pick up the last minute supplies. It has been one heck of a busy year and murder on that beater Audi.
