You know the really sad thing is the wolves were getting hunted out in Montana, and years ago we (Canada) sent some of ours down to repopulate, now it goes around again...
If you are going to "thin" out the polulation, I suggest thining out everything that the wolves would have normally eaten that way the scales won't be tipped.
