I am supportive of anyone who engineers their own path with their own belongings. I have a hard time remembering...did Porsche build a car with a front engine, V8, water cooled? or maybe a six cylinder rear engine ....water cooled...I get so confused. There are many things that make the 911 and Porsche the best...engine is only part of it..but it seems even the German engineers like to be "flexible" in powerplant choices.
