Looking great. Don't worry about the purists. Here is a picture of my LT-1 swap. Radiator in front. I'm only running 350-375 hp but I can hang the tail out at the press of the right foot. The power, as you now know, is really linear and the torque is unreal. I've taken other 911 owners for rides and they can't believe the power. You can drive it in town all day too, if desired. It is the best of both worlds. To all the purists: I also have a '99 996 convertible with a stock engine. I will say you haven't lived until you hear the mechanical bliss of a 911 at the last 2,000 rpm to redline. It is a GREAT car - no denying it. But my V8 will just run circles around it and any high school auto class kid can work on it. For performance, I'll take the V8 any day. For finesse, I'll take stock. There is room in this world for both. Don't be so judgmental. Enjoyed your thread, keep it up.
