It is not negotiable. It is entertaining for my husband to watch, but it is not negotiable. All joking aside, the biggest issue with the bath is making sure you give them something in the bottom of the sink (or shower) to stick their claws into. A towel works well, but your foot/leg, etc., will also work just fine from the cat's perspective.
