Hi Merlin,

My fuses were totally filled out as I got the car. It looked totally stock as they were all very old. I replaced 90% of them with some brand new ones of the same type/amps. The one missing in the picture is when i was trying to troubleshoot a grounded issue. It ended up being a couple wires smashed by the A/C guy, so i fixed the grounding issue and replaced the fuse.

No wires burning or hot on my CIS car, so I am assuming that all of my Fuses and Relays are correct. Plus everything is working. The only issue I have is the one relay you see jumpered (2 spades and short wire). His variation will be very small as his is a Manual and I am an Auto.

I would say mimic what I got and see if this helps. If burning continues, then I bet he has a short somewhere. Would a bad ignition switch do that? Not sure.

When you got the car, were you able to turn it over with the Ignition Switch?
