Mark my words.
You are all wrong. I have lived and worked in Mainland China.
I now work in an industry that prepares our servicemen to defend this country from aerial attacks.
The Chinese threat is the most credible threat we face. Now and in the future. There are others, but they are #1. Their avionics, aircraft and missile systems are on a par with ours and are getting better. Our advantage, for the moment, is training and personnel.
Make no mistake about that old saw about cheap Chinese made products. They are still out there. But not when it comes to their military electronics. After all, it is where all of OUR electronics come from now, maybe not recognizably, but the parts certainly do.
We have allowed this to happen. We now get to 'reap the wind'....
