More information on our 82 panel question (i.e., was a 53-style starter relay or a relay bridge used for manual cars )
I say all 82 should have the relay. And, 82-on also has a bridge --- in the trunk area under the hatch!
ROW and USA PET manuals list a "bridge". You know what? I bet that "bridge" for 82, even though it is listed in the CE Panel area of the PET, is actually the little short wire that is fitted to the white terminal in the
trunk area.
