I was kinda wondering the same thing. Does porsche ever use Ruf for R&D or anything like that? I scratch your back if you scratch mine, kinda thing?

Wanna bet a V8 will be cheaper than a GT2 motor?
It has been said that they can't put a factory turbo or high performance engine in the cayman or boxter because that would probably outperform their iconic 911 series. I wish they would do it too though. Maybe if they do a V8 in the 911 they'll drop something big in the cayman/boxter.
