914-4 to 2.7L six
Got a buddie with a 914-4 who has wisely recognized he needs a six.
What is there to it besides welding in new mounts for the six and plumbing the oil tank...headers and fuel lines for the carbs? Its a 74 with a two liter four to start with. He'll be keeping the 901 trans for now.
If any of you have a good 2.7 you want to sell, he seems interested. I could put you in touch with him.... I don't know his desired price range though...
