Hi
I bought this 930 a couple of month ago.
I am slowly changing out the various seal (weather strips) on the car as it fits in while working on sorting the car.
So far I have changed the tail light seals, which is pretty easy. You just unscrew the lens and the housing and remove the old one. Then you gently fit the new seal so the grove on the seal sits on the lip of the housing. Make sure it is still in place when you reinstall the housings.
This weekend I changed my bumper to chassis seal. It seems to be pretty straight forward job as well. I all-ready had the bumper and rear reflector out. Do a search if you have any doubt on how to remove the reflector. It can easily brake, and it is very expensive...
After the necessary parts were removed, I cleaned the pertient parts of the car before fitting the new seal.
I simply looked at the old one (which was broke and brittle) aligned the new one up in the middle.
The new seal is to big. I just ligned it up and fitted it along the holes for the reflector. At each end I just cut the seal with a HD pair of scissors. That's it
Very simple job. The look of the rubber seal bothered me. If yours is the same. By the time you have finished a couple of cold ones it is done. It looks so much better.
