Question on the rusted blower threads; mine are rusty above the CE panel, I thought this was an indication of a leaking seal (it still may be) but I also notices some rusty threads under the driver side dash, similar style/location to the passenger side. As far as I know there is nothing on the driver side of the car that could leak and cause those threads to rust like the pass. side, so I am wondering how good an indication of a leak the rusted threads above CE panel are? Or are these rusted areas just a result of our cars being 25+ years old? Has anyone else noticed this?
