You can do it by mail but its better to do in person.

I have used "Mingo's Boots" in El Paso Texas for the last 30 years. Excellent quality and an absolute hand made boot. They fit them to YOUR foot and not the generic size. Price is about $75-$100 more but for me worth every penny. I bought a pair of beautiful ostrich in 1982 and still wearing them today, so well worth it for me.

BTW, I get mostly Roper heels these days as well as the more rounded toe. As well they will make any height tops and stitch them as you like them. If you wish they put your initials inset on the bottom of the tops so that when you cross your legs your initials show up. Makes for some nice comments when people see that these boots were made for you and not just off of the rack.
