It is illegal to put gasoline in unapproved containers (
another idiotic government regulation) but I wonder who is responsible for enforcement. I could see the station being responsible if an employee pumped the gas or saw it being done and didn't shut the pump off. But if it wasn't witnessed, could the station be held accountable?
