Just a tech tip....I recommend NEVER using cloth or paper to cover your carbs/throttle bodies etc... One inadvertent bump of the starter and you have a big mess on your hands (yes personal experience). I use racquetballs as they are perfect size, will not get sucked in and they are smooth finish. Tennis balls with the fur on them can hold dirt and dust on them.

Clean engine!
