I once saw a kid at a petrol station topping up the oil in his car.
He thought you had to fill it to the bottom of the filler cap and he couldn't understand why he had to use so much oil??? ...
I mentioned the "Dip Stick" and he thought I was making a joke about him.
I tried to help him but he fobbed me off. "Saying I'm fine. I know what I'm doing"... I figured he'll learn the hard way instead.
