You did apply to work for both when you got your current job didn't you? And your current boss is the one that hired you when the other one wouldn't. You want to leave your boss with the idea that he now has something that his nemesis wants not the idea that you are looking to go to the other side. If you come across correctly it should make you look more loyal than if you don't tell him and he finds out anyway.
