Thanks for the compliments. I have sent an email to the sign lady to see if she wants the attention. I was blown away when i received it by how nice it was. The picture really can’t capture the cool factor. I will send out PM’s if she wants me to.
The floor is actually a 1/4 inch built up epoxy floor with a polyurethane topcoat. Steps: Shot blast the floor. Apply layer of epoxy and apply the seed(colored flake) to cover. Come back the next day and sweep it off. Apply another coat of epoxy over the top of that and apply another layer of flakes.
Come back the next day and sweep off all the flakes that did not stick. Apply the polurethane topcoat and let dry. The flakes along with the amount of texture in your roller cause the amount of grip your floor provides. This was done by a professional. Figure $5to $6/sf as a starting point. Dyi for maybe $3/SF?
