So I have a 3100c - CanOBD2 Code Reader that has worked fine on BMWs and VWs up to 2008 year models. When I connect the reader to my 2000 Boxster S, I receive a read error. My code reader is an older model and updated with the latest software release but I feel that it should work since everything appears normal on my other cars. Also, I took the car by Advance Auto & Auto Zone and the store Code Reader could not pull up the code. Does the Boxster require a special Code Reader like the AutoEnginuity's Scan Tool or is something else going on? Thanks in advance...
