Targe911s is right. In fact, your question reflect the age-old Philosophical Question #1. The question asked in Eclesiastes. If you had spent your life building massive monuments, what permanent impact would you have? None, actually. So then, the purpose of life boils down to one of two things. Either we are here to reconnect with our origin (God), or life is essentially pointless but for the fellowship. Of all the temporary, pointless things we might "waste" our time on here, the most meaningful and sensible is the fellowship thing.
I like this Pelican community. I like it a LOT. I have for many years now. I'm not going to leave.
