MB of Long Beach is a decent dealership (I used to go there all the time for filters and accessories and stuff) but boy do they stick it to people for service - and they will spam you relentlessly to get you to bring your car in there for it (I never did, but it tells you where their maximum profit margin is...)

Thankfully I only needed to get the taillight recall done - man, the out-the-door cost would have been almost $1,000 to change those taillight lens assemblies! (glad it didn't cost me anything!)

I only ever dealt with the parts department other than that.

My neighbor used to take his cars to a guy running a shop called "The Mechanic" I think on Redondo near 3rd street but I could check. He spoke highly of them but I never dealt with the place myself.
