I can't tell you how aggrivated I am lately at trying to fin d a new place.
In
October our landlord informed us that we had to move. then he started
getting pushy about it.
So, we've been looking since October. We need to be out by the end of March.
Finding a place in the area we need to stay, and in the price range wee need, has been incredibly difficult. One place that would have been great, I couldn't get a response out of at all. I found out why today - he's trying to sell the house he lives in now, and would have to move back into the house he "wanted" to rent...the same problem we're currently having!
The main anchor around my neck - my assembly guy who doesn't drive - is a major problem with our choice of location. Not to mention the kid who doesn't want to change schools. He's doing VERY well in his current school, and we don't want to see it suffer.
So, by the end of the month, we have to have found a new place, and be moved out by the end of March. It'll take a month to make the move.
3-car garages seem to be pretty rare here. My current garage/shop is 22x30 and that size is great. Oversized 2-car garages could work, but...forget it...none to be found. they're barely 2-car garages at that. And then, there's no real outside-the-garage parking to be found. Five cars between the woman and I.
Getting desperate here. And the landlord is still being a d*ck and doesn't give a *@#$ that he'll put me out of business if we haven't found a suitable place.
Saving up the dough has been a challenge too, with the $500+/month electric bills I've been suffering trying to keep the shop at least frigid enough to work in. I've already lost an amp and plenty of products because of the weather/moisture and temps in the un-insulated shop.
