I just called Willoughby Porsche to get a price on a CV Joint gasket (923-332-297-00-M30). Guess how much they want for it. Go on, guess...
Pelican price: $2.75 each (with $37 shipping to Australia).
Porsche Willoughby: $32. EACH. AND I have to pick it up.
Unbelievable. I can order 2 of them from the States and even with the outrageous shipping charge, I'm still ahead of the game.
(In fact I'll just be making them up myself out of cork, unless I think of something else that I need to order from PP in the next month or so.)
How do they sell any parts at all at those prices?
