Alan, if you have any friends in the States; have Pelican ship to their address - it's generally free shipping in the US continent. Then have the friend stick them in an envelope and mail USPS to Oz.
Otherwise a few of us in the Pcar club up here just do joint Pelican order - we keep a running tally like a shopping list and just order each others' stuff.
