Hey folks...
Thanks for all of the great information. As per usual removing the knob is alittle different then expected. I have a 1985 Carrera and I now know about the removal technique.
Also, thanks for the info on the steering wheel. I will watch for the turn signal cancelling ring. As well, I will take my time to tighten down the wheel. Small nicks on the allen heads would drive me nuts.
