As soon as the car gets back on the road, (long story), I'll be installing Dunlop Direzzionales. They are an ultra high performance tire but not as soft as an r tire. they are rated to have good wet weather performance. My 74 has 205/60-15s on it and they rub on the outter fender on hard acceleration, just a bit - got to trim the fender lip or roll it.
