Some questions about the 996
Hello All,
I am considering a 2002-2004 996 and had some questions that I am hoping you can help me with.
1. Is there a service manual similar to the Bentley or 101 projects book like there is for the 911SC and carrera? Or do you have to use the factory manual which I imagine is expensive.
2. Do any of you have toddler/booster seats in the rear? If so, which brand/make fits back there?
3. Have any of you had to replace the RMS or IMS bearing yourself? I watched a couple of videos on youtube and it does not seems too bad but I expect the tough part is removing the engine. Has anyone removed their own engine? I am wondering compared to the aircooled engine how difficult this is to do.
