205/55 hands down (IMHO )...

205/50, as Shaun states, is just too small/low profile on the 911 (early or late).

205/60 look like balloons after eyeing 55's for a while...

It is a personal choice since ride height plays into it, too. Technically spreaking , the 205/50 gets "pretty far" from what Porsche intended for rolling diameters (stock = ~25" dia, 205/50 = ~23" dia). 50 series will start to impact speedo accuracy and gearing if not compensated for. Just ask the autocrossers... they run 'em for a reason!

You asked for pix...

205/50 on 15x6's on a low '68:

205/60 on 15x7's on a (poorly sitting) '74:

205/55 on 15x7's (mmmm... just right):

Just my 2 cents (well maybe that was more like 4 cents) .

P.S. Shaun, those pics of the cookies on the early car you keep posting almost got me to buy that set you were selling.... stop it!
